PR & Marketing Assistant

The person appointed will provide support and continuity to the Marketing and PR team and have specific responsibility to deliver given projects relating to hospitality business. They will be required to demonstrate good writing skills be creative, self-motivated and will possess excellent planning and organising skills. Good teamwork, strong communication skills and confidence are a big part of this role.

Specific tasks will include:

Assembly and filing of press cuttings

Assisting on filming and photoshoots, liaising with internal departments and assisting in preparation of contracts

Responding to general press enquiries and sending out images. Providing support organising press events.

Focus on hospitality PR (weddings, corporate, accommodation), writing advertorials, press releases, researching new press opportunities, drafting press releases, maintaining/updating hospitality PR calendar.

The maintenance and monitoring of paid for and free directories/listings

Updating the website as and when directed

Taking responsibility for maintaining/updating the Leeds Castle customer and business databases

General administration and filing

Campsite Steward

In preparation for the forthcoming busy summer season, we are looking for a Campsite Steward to join us to help run our award winning Knight's Glamping site. We enjoyed full occupancy of this luxury camping site last year and forward bookings for this year are very good.
The duties will be varied and will include managing guests’ bookings, allocating tents and welcoming guests on arrival and making sure the tents are cleaned and prepared to the highest standard. During the guests stay, the stewards are on hand to deal with any issues, such as preparing breakfast baskets as well as cleaning and maintaining the campsite area.
You will need to be bright, energetic with previous customer service experience. The hours of work will be rotered according to business demands but will be approximately 3 to 4 days a week and will either be worked from 7.30am to 4pm or 12pm noon to 8pm. It is hard work and you will need to be the sort of person who can smile whatever the weather, however busy you are! In return you will have fun, get to work in the most amazing location and be paid £8.71 per hour. This role will be starting 5th April finishing early October 2019.

Housekeeping

Our housekeeping staff are responsible for cleaning all B&B and holiday cottages across the estate, as well as rooms in the castle. You will have the opportunity to work in beautiful surroundings with flexible hours to fit around family commitments. We are open 364 days each year and there will be shift patterns to suit everyone!

Functions Assistants

We are also looking for functions assistants to join our hospitality team. Functions assistants support the operations manager, greeting guests, helping with luggage, as well as setting up rooms for functions. We require staff who could work during the day but would also be available to work during the night when required.
Whilst you don’t need to have previous experience, you do need to be motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic and possess extremely high standards. So if you are looking to get back into the workplace, or are looking for a part time job working with a lovely friendly team, look no further.

Event Supervisor (zero-hour contract)

Levy Restaurants require an events supervisor to work in a busy conference and events department at the beautiful Leeds Castle. The conference and events team cater for all events within three venues, Castle, Maiden's Tower and Fairfax Hall, providing excellent food and great customer service. The duties for this role will include working in a team and managing a team of waiting and bar staff, ensuring excellent service is provided to our customers in a polite and friendly manner, overall management off the event, including liaising with the client, food service, clearing, ensuring service areas are kept clean, tidy and safe. Other duties will include training, cashiering, stock management and taking an active part in client relationships, and abiding strict HSE requirements.

Catering Supervisors

We are recruiting day visitor and restaurant supervisors to work in a busy restaurant (breakfast, lunch & evening shifts) and kiosk orientated environment. The day visitor restaurant caters for many people, providing excellent food and great service. The duties for this role will include working in a team of catering assistants, ensuring excellent service is provided to our customers in a polite and friendly manner, order taking, food service, clearing, basic food preparation, ensuring service areas are kept clean, tidy and safe. Other duties will include cashiering, stock management and taking an active part in any unit sales promotions.

Restaurant Supervisor

We are recruiting for a restaurant supervisor to work in a busy restaurant (evening shifts). Our evening restaurant caters for many people, including residential guests, providing excellent food and great service. The duties for this role will include working in a team of catering assistants, ensuring excellent service is provided to our customers in a polite and friendly manner, order taking, food service, clearing, basic food preparation, ensuring service areas are kept clean, tidy and safe. Other duties will include cashiering, stock management and taking an active part in any unit sales promotions.

Events Waiters/Bar Staff

Levy Restaurants requires an events staff to work in a busy conference and events department at the beautiful Leeds Castle. Levy Restaurants requires a CDP to work in a busy catering environment at the beautiful Leeds Castle. From fine dining in a castle and our evening restaurant to working in a high turnover day visitor attraction venue.
With a new Executive Head Chef leading the kitchen, a varied role awaits, with endless career possibilities for anyone who is enthusiastic. The duties for this role will include working in a team, ensuring excellent service is provided to our customers, ensuring service areas are kept clean, tidy and safe. Other duties will include training, stock management and taking an active part in abiding strict HSE requirements.

Supervisor (Concessions)

Levy Restaurants requires a day visitor catering supervisor to work in a busy fast paced kiosk orientated environment (mainly 9am to 6pm) at the beautiful Leeds Castle. The day visitor concessions cater for many people over six outlets with added pop ups during peak season, providing excellent food and great service. The duties for this role will include working in a team and managing a team of catering assistants, ensuring excellent service is provided to our customers in a polite and friendly manner, order taking, food service, clearing, basic food preparation, ensuring service areas are kept clean, tidy and safe. Other duties will include training, cashiering, stock management and taking an active part in any unit sales. promotions. and abiding strict HSE requirements.

Kitchen Porters

Levy Restaurants UK are looking for someone with the ability to promote a welcoming environment where our colleagues, clients and customers receive great service. Must be polite and friendly with good customer care skills and neat/tidy in appearance. Must havea awareness of food hygiene standards and health and safety standards. A 'can do' attitude, prepared to help out the rest of the team in a willing and positive manner. Able to work in a busy environment. Good command of the English Language. Own transportation would be an advantage due to the location of Leeds Castle.
