SITE ACCESS & opening TIMES
Leeds Castle Main Site Access:
- The Leeds Castle grounds will close to visitors unless you have a ticket for the Christmas Lights event.
- If you’re an admission ticket holder and have also purchased a Christmas Lights ticket, please see the dates below. On certain dates, you may be able to access our Food & Beverage area on Cedar Lawn as a holding area before your scheduled entry time.
Weekend Visits & Daily Access (From December 14):
- On weekends, and daily from December 14th onwards, Cedar Lawn will serve as a holding area for Christmas Lights ticket holders until their event time.
Weekday Visits (November 22 to December 14):
- On weekdays between November 22 and December 14, daytime visitors with Christmas Lights tickets must exit the Leeds Castle grounds and wait at the Visitor Centre.
- During this time, the Grayson’s café, toilets, and the gift shop at the Visitor Centre will be open for your convenience.
- The Christmas Lights area will open for entry at 4:30 PM.

LETTERS TO SANTA
Our Nutcracker has direct communication with the North Pole from Leeds Castle which means you can bring along your Letter to Santa, find our post-box at The Dog Collar Museum and know the Nutcracker will make sure it reaches Santa this year.

Dining and Overnight Stays:
- If you are staying with us, please enter via Broomfield Gate.
- We recommend that guests dine after completing the Christmas Lights trail.
- The latest entry for Christmas Lights if you are dining or staying at Leeds Castle is 1 hour before the final ticket slot.
- For example, if the last ticket time is 8 PM, the latest dining or stay booking should be at 7 PM.

- Land Train – Due to an expected high volume of visitors, the Land Train may not be running.
- Mobility Bus – The Mobility bus will be running a reduced service.
- Wheelchair Lift – The Wheelchair lift in the castle is out of service.
