For more than 900 years, Leeds Castle has played many remarkable roles. It has been a Norman stronghold, the private residence of six of England’s medieval queens, a royal palace for Henry VIII’s first wife, Catherine of Aragon, a Jacobean country house, a Georgian mansion, and an elegant 20th-century retreat for the influential and famous.
Today, Leeds Castle is one of Britain’s most visited historic attractions, welcoming visitors from around the world to discover its extraordinary history and beautiful surroundings.
