After the excitement and indulgence of Christmas, Leeds Castle is the perfect place to unwind and stretch your legs.
Winter transforms the estate into a serene landscape. Start your day by strolling past the lake, where you may catch mist rising from the water or frost shimmering across the lawns. The grounds are alive with wildlife – geese, swans and ducks are out in abundance, adding movement and colour to the crisp morning air.
Inside the Castle, experience the magic of Neverland in the Castle before it flies away on Sunday 4th January 2026! In collaboration with Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity, this captivating event promises families an immersive journey into the beloved world of JM Barrie’s Peter Pan – a vibrant celebration of adventure, imagination, and storytelling.
Visitors will explore the whimsical Lost Boys’ hideout, before floating through to the shimmering Mermaid Lagoon. They will join forces with Peter Pan* to take on the dastardly Captain Hook* in the Salon, before ascending the spiralling staircase to Hook’s lair, set with his mischievous plans for Peter Pan.
With over 550 acres of picturesque parkland to explore, our circular walking routes offer the perfect way to stretch your legs and soak up the scenery: whether you’re after a gentle amble or a more energetic loop through the grounds. Each path offers a slightly different perspective of the estate, from sweeping parkland views to more secluded woodland corners.
There is plenty for the little ones too! Wrap up warm and come raring to go as you conquer the thrilling adventure playground. Let off steam by navigating the climbing walls, giant cargo net, and zip wires to be named the king or queen of the castle
If you’ve purchased a day ticket within the last 12 months, chances are your ticket is still valid for free annual entry, making this the perfect opportunity to enjoy a winter visit with no extra cost. It’s an ideal excuse to gather everyone together and make the most of those quieter days between Christmas and New Year.
