TOURS & SPECIALIST TALKS
A variety of options are available for your group visit, from private guided and audio tours to specialist talks.
Private Guided Visits
Includes a private guided tour of the Castle with a Leeds Castle tour guide.
Available outside normal opening hours at 9.15am, 9.30am and 9.45am. Tours are available in English, French, German and Dutch. Coaches may drive to a point near the castle island to drop off passengers.
Tours last approximately one hour, must be pre-booked and are subject to availability.
Self-Guided Visits
Explore the grounds and Castle at your leisure. Pre-book your visit in advance to save time on the day.
We appreciate that numbers in your group are only approximate at the time of booking, therefore confirmation of these should be made on your arrival at the Ticket Office.
After visiting the magnificent state rooms of Leeds Castle, make sure there’s time to see everything the estate has to offer including stunning gardens and the beautiful yew maze.

Meet the Owls – An interactive 30-minute session with nature’s most beautiful birds.
Join us for an up-close and personal encounter with some of nature’s most stunning birds at Leeds Castle. This is not a flying display, but an exclusive opportunity to meet the owls face-to-face and interact with the Falconers. During this session, you’ll learn fascinating details about the species that call Leeds Castle home. You’ll also have the chance to ask questions, take photos, and, if you’re feeling brave, even stroke an owl!
£5 per person with a minimum spend of £50.
Garden Tours
Enjoy a private Garden Tour led by a member of Leeds Castle’s expert gardening team and explore the beautifully preserved historic gardens that surround the estate.
Perfect for garden lovers, history enthusiasts, and groups seeking a charming and memorable experience, these guided tours offer fascinating insights into the Castle’s horticultural heritage and seasonal displays.
Garden Tours are available for £8 per person.

Leeds Castle offers a diverse range of food options to suit all tastes, from freshly prepared hot and cold dishes to indulgent baked treats. Whether you’re looking for a leisurely sit-down meal, a quick snack, or something to enjoy outdoors, the Castle’s food outlets have something for every preference.
For group visits, we are delighted to offer pre-booked lunches at the beautiful Castle View Restaurant, where guests can savor their meal while taking in breathtaking views of the Castle. Lunches are available at 12:00 PM or 2:00 PM. We also offer group options for afternoon tea and cream tea, providing the perfect opportunity to unwind during your visit. Please note that final guest numbers and payment are required at least 14 days in advance to ensure a smooth and efficient experience.
