The 510 Bus Route operated by Stagecoach bus is now servicing the Leeds Castle bus stop within the grounds.

If you’re visiting by the 510 bus, please note that it comes into the Castle grounds on Saturday’s. On all other days, the service stops outside the Mercure Maidstone Great Danes Hotel, which is approximately a 12-minute walk from the Visitor Centre. View walking directions here.

Southeastern runs frequent services to Bearsted and Hollingbourne stations. There are direct trains to both stations from: Ashford International (25-30 mins) and London Victoria (70-75 mins). It’s then a 5-minute taxi ride or a 30-40 minute walk to Leeds Castle. View walking directions from Hollingbourne Station here.

National Cycle Route 17 follows the Pilgrims’ Way to the north of Leeds Castle so you can use this from the Maidstone or Ashford direction through the village of Hollingbourne. To the south National Cycle Route 177 is also a great way to travel to Leeds Castle. Find out more by viewing the National Cycle Route Map.

Bicycles are not permitted within the grounds, but cycle stands are available in the visitor car park.
